A question! – What provisions have you made for your digital estate?

Today I was asked by one of my networks to congratulate a colleague on the 12th anniversary as an account manager. Such a tip is actually practical, but unfortunately, this message is something special, because my friend fell asleep a few months ago.

This made me think. What happens to my social accounts, websites, my data and digital legacies when I am no longer there? Who has access and can clean up?

So? What provisions have you made for your digital estate?

Are there any recommended services?

Heute wurde ich von einem meiner Netzwerke aufgefortert einem Kollegen zum 12.ten Jahrestag als Account Manager zu gratulieren. So ein Hinweis ist eigentlich doch schon praktisch, aber leider ist diese Nachricht etwas besonderes, denn mein Freund ist vor einigen Monaten fĂĽr immer eingeschlafen.

Dies brachte mich zum Nachdenken. Was passiert denn eigentlich mit meinen sozialen Konten, den Webseiten, meinen Daten und digitalen Vermächnisse, wenn ich einmal nicht mehr sein sollte? Wer hat dann Zugriff und kann gegebenenfalls aufräumen?

Gibt es da Lösungen?

Today Vil started his new job. It’s a working from home job. Virtual E-Commerce Pre-Sales Engineer for a “One-Stop” – E-Commerce Agency. Sounds really fancy.  His responsibilities include Pre- & Post-Sales Support, Case- & Project-Management.
